Breast Cancer Network Australia was preparing to launch a new brand identity, No Life Limited by Breast Cancer, timed to national media coverage. The identity needed to appear complete everywhere at once. The Umbraco website Koben had rebuilt was only one piece of BCNA's digital footprint: Khoros Community, Shopify and Raisely all still carried the old branding. A staggered rollout risked undermining the relaunch it was meant to support.
Koben partnered with brand agency Thinkerbell, who led the creative direction and defined the new visual system. Koben's role was technical implementation: translating Thinkerbell's brand system into every surface of BCNA's CMS and code, and into the theming layers of each connected platform. The work built on the unified digital experience platform Koben had already delivered for BCNA, auditing every template, component and integration point that still carried the old identity.
The reskin touched the entire Umbraco front end: templates, design tokens, block components and imagery were rebuilt against the new brand system. The same work extended into the platforms integrated around it. Khoros Community's community pages, the Shopify store and Raisely's donation and fundraising pages were each re-themed within their own platform, so a supporter moving between the website, the community, the store and a donation page saw one consistent brand throughout.
Every surface launched together. The Umbraco website, Khoros Community, Shopify and Raisely all switched to the new identity within the same coordinated deployment, timed to BCNA's public brand launch. No page carried the old branding once the relaunch went live, and BCNA's media moment landed on a fully consistent digital presence.
